The PC-V series features a Vortex impeller design. The impeller is recessed in the upper part of the pump casing, creating a powerful liquid vortex. This allows solids and long fibers to pass through the pump without direct contact with the impeller blades, virtually eliminating the risk of clogging.
Yes. Due to the free-flow vortex principle, PC-V pumps handle gaseous liquids and active sludge significantly better than standard sewage pumps. They prevent the formation of "air locks" within the impeller chamber, ensuring stable operation in aeration tanks and sludge processing.
To ensure a long service life in aggressive environments, the casing and impeller are made of high-quality cast iron, while the shaft is made of stainless steel. The pumps are equipped with a double mechanical seal in an oil chamber to provide maximum motor protection.
PC-V pumps by EKVIVES are designed for continuous immersion (IP68) in wastewater with temperatures up to +40°C. They are ideal for small to medium-sized sewage stations, industrial effluent discharge, and treatment plant applications.
