FAQ: AIMM Explosion-Proof Electric Motors

AIMM series electric motors are designed for operation in hazardous areas categorized as Zone 1 and Zone 2. They are essential for industries such as chemical processing, oil refining, gas, and coal mining, where explosive mixtures of gas, vapor, or dust with air may be present.

AIMM motors are commonly produced with the 1Ex d IIB T4 marking. This indicates a "flameproof enclosure" (type d), which is capable of withstanding an internal explosion without allowing the flame to propagate into the surrounding explosive atmosphere.

Yes, all AIMM series motors supplied by Ekvives come with a full package of permits and valid certificates of conformity. They meet the strict technical regulations for equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX/DSTU standards).

AIMM electric motors come with an official 12-month warranty. Due to their reinforced housing and specialized sealing, these motors offer an extended service life in harsh environments. We ensure fast shipping from our warehouse in Kyiv to any destination.
