The K-type pump is a single-stage centrifugal pump with a horizontal inlet. Its primary advantage is the frame-mounted design, where the pump and motor are connected via a flexible coupling on a common steel baseplate. This setup allows for the maintenance or replacement of the motor without dismantling the pump casing from the piping system.
We offer two options: Gland packing (cost-effective, allows slight leakage for lubrication) and Mechanical seals (ensures total airtightness). The choice depends on your operational environment and the required level of system automation.
